It's like two gates for the price of one
This gate is fantastic. I love being able to retract it to keep the doorway open when the baby isn't running amok. The best part is that it comes with two sets of wall mounts so you can switch the gate from one doorway to another with minimal effort. The baby's not actually going to be in two rooms at once (even though it often seems that way) so this is a great alternative to buying two gates.

Easy installation
This is great for our dog to being able to get down the desks on our deck. But we have had it know for a over a month and it’s not wanting to retract as easily as when it was first installed.

I'm not sure if it's sturdy enough
for a baby who's learning how to stand. I will probably update my review later as my LO is only learning to crawl now. Other things I didn't like: the spaces between sections are too wide so a leg or a hand might get stuck. Also, it can only be used as a hexagon-shaped yard, not as a rectangle. I didn't realize it when I placed an order.

Great item!
We've used this item for both our dog after he had surgery and needed to be contained, and also for our new granddaughter! It's sturdy and we know everyone is safe!

Esthetically pretty and does the job
Panels are sturdy and built well. It isn’t an eye sore and my LO enjoys the toy panel it come with. However, we’re disappointed in the locking system for each of the panels to keep them in place from opening or closing. Also, the bottom joints are open and exposed that little fingers might get caught in with the sharper angles. We have it on tile, so it’s easy to push and slide around.

Not very user friendly
This is a product that is useless when you are trying to work it by yourself. I can’t imagine trying it while holding a child. It isn’t easily closed or released and it is very loud when it is wrapping back up.

Scratched Material
I love this enclosure, it’s easy on the eyes and easy to move around while also feeling sturdy. I took off a star because one of the panels was scratched when I received it.

I love this product and the company that produces it!
I bought this gate over a year ago and it stopped working. I contacted the supplier and they were 090% supportive and interested in the malfunction. I sent in photos and a video for their review. They replaced the gate and I am very pleased. I strongly recommend this product.

Higher quality than expected, perfect for our use
From reading the reviews, I still wasn't sure what kind of material the mesh panels would be nor how sturdy. The mesh panels are actually exxtremely tough and taught so baby cannot push them out and yet they are not abrasive either so i don't mind when she explores the material by caressing them or leaning her head/body against them. The panels actually come with two sets of wall mounting brackets (four plastic brackets-u would screw in two on each side and then insert two of the panels), and although none of the reviewers have provided photos you could set the gate up as one 7 foot long wall. There is an easy to use pull up gate which turns red when unlocked, it doesn't drag on the carpet and seems fairly durable. The fencing itself snaps into various angles so once it's set up in the orientation you like, the panels are harder to move, they don't just swing open. I have a 25 lb 8 month old and am not worried at all about her moving the panels or tipping it over. Right now I have it set up in our living room in an almost hexagon, with one open section against the seating portion of the couch so I can sit inside with her and work on my laptop at times and lean against the couch. I waited a couple months to see if we really needed one of these and then hesitated on the price, because you can find plastic gates for around $60 and it seems pretty pricey. However, I think you really get what you pay for. The wall panel playstation is perfect for her age and the higher up toys will be even better once she starts standing. , which again I now feel confident about her taking some topples since she would just land mostly against mesh or nylon covered plastic tubing instead of hard plastic. Lastly, she hates being put in her crib because it's harder to see out, but she doesn't seem to mind the mesh so much, which makes my life much easier.

Really great product. Bought two!
This was highly recommended to us by a friend. We loved its sturdiness and ease of assembly and use. Bought one more later to use a divider to keep baby from reaching the blinds and such. Highly recommend!

I wish we had stuck with the wooden gates
Loud ratcheting sound, and I can't work the darn thing even with both hands. Once it's up, it's fine, but very hard to work.

Great look,easy installation. Best kid gate ever owned.
Great product and was easy to install at the top of my deck stairs. Keeps my 2 & 4 year olds along with my wife contained and safe to the confines of the deck area. Only minor complaint would be the ratchet/clicking sound when it retracts. Maybe this is an unintentional safety feature so parents know when the gate retracts and is opened. Far superior than any other gate system I've owned.
